The most challenging aspect of a project at a second home is coordination amongst the members to know exactly what needs to be done, to have the right tools and supplies, and to communicate what is left to do for the next group if it is a lengthy project.

Here's How The App Can Help:

Step 1:

Navigate to the projects and gear section at the bottom of the home screen. Next, hit the “+” to start a new project.

Step 2:

Select a due date (optional) and name your project.

Step 3:

Add details, including description, instructions, materials needed, and reference photos.

Step 4:

Tag other members of the property and equipment or tools for easy searches (optional)

Step 5:

Click Save and Confirm. You’re ready to start!

Keep in mind if you aren’t able to finish the task during your visit, use the comments section to leave a status update and what is left to do. Post plenty of pictures so the next group can pick up where you left off.

Organization and teamwork are essential for families and Airbnb hosts alike to keep up with projects and routine maintenance, which is why Backporch’s Projects and Gear feature is so helpful.

Families can use it to easily communicate what tasks need attention or have already been done. At the same time, Airbnb hosts can rest assured knowing they have a dependable way to track property-related projects.

From travel plans to rental management, no matter your needs, Backporch is here to help make life simpler and more organized!
